XPost: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, alt.os.windows-xp       From: alpha@olympus.net              I have a situation.              I have both MS Internet Explorer and Firefox active on my XP SP2       machine. I have Firefox set as the default browser because I prefer       Firefox. I want to execute Verizon's speed test at       (http://www2.verizon.net/micro/speedtest/java/       and it appears that it will not run under Firefox, but will under IE.       I have a desktop shortcut created to do the test, but it wants to use       Firefox because it is the default browser. How do I permanently make       this shortcut and only this shortcut use IE?              Thanks              -GECKO              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
