|    HELP NEEDED - Printer Problems    |
|    18 Nov 08 06:11:27    |
From: azscorp@nowhere.com              I have an HP 7590 Multimedia PC. With Intel Dual Processor, 2GB RAM       Windows Media Center Edition w/SP3 + latest updates.       Also an HP 722C parallel port printer       I can no longer print to that printer. It will print a test page just fine but       nothing else.       I've un-installed the printer 4 times and even un-installed the port,       rebooted, the system finds the printer and or port, installs the drivers and       still nothing. It goes through all the motions of printing but it's a blank       page.       I have a home wired network and all the other computers act the same to that       printer, test pages print fine but nothing else. I've tried printing from       Notepad a txt file and still no print.       the fact that it will print the test pages kinda tells me that the printer,       cable, port are ok.       It used to work just fine but has been doing this for a week or more.       I ran anti-virus, spyware and regclean and nothing found.       I don't know what else to do, can someone please help?       Thanks       azscorp              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
