From: hjmurray@shaw.ca              I have just completed a fresh install of Windows XP with SP2. I have       also install SP3. I had lots of other applications to install over a 2       day period. Now I have a serious annoyance, mostly on the desktop but       can pop up in other places.              When I attempt to open a folder on the desktop up pops Windows Installer       attempting to install Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0, (one of my applications I       have already installed.) I hit the Cancel button several times and the       folder will open. This can happen within applications when I try to open       a file.              I suspect a problem in Windows Registry.              Any suggested solutions are appreciated.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
