   It really doesn't matter whether or not you're the only user. When a   
   program installs itself, it will place the icon in one of the two following   
   folders:   
      
   C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop   
      
   or   
      
   C:\Documents and Settings\\Desktop   
      
   All XP computers have at least two "Desktop" folders. The one an   
   installation program has chosen to use often cannot be determined until   
   after the installation has completed.
