   Either both of us are correct (how??), or you're installing something other   
   than I am. I usually install authentic XP Pro, OEM and Retail versions, but   
   I have installed a few XP Home. (I've also installed a couple 'HP Brand'   
   recovery versions.) Not once did I ever get asked to set a password.
