Fdisk has never been part of       NT systems. (Well, maybe NT3... been a while since I used that, though.)       Unless you tell it otherwise, yes, it'll default to doing the drive letters       in order.              All you *should* need to do is plug in the drive, then do as you wish... but       you'll experience problems copying over a running Windows system. The usual       approach would be to use disk cloning software. (Or... boot a LiveCD that can       write to the filesystem you're using, and do it that way.
