   Possibly. If so, here's how you might be able to stop it from doing that.   
      
   Go to Control Panel and select "Sounds and Audio Devices." Click on the   
   "Sounds" tab, and look in the "Program Events" window at the "Windows" tre of   
   events and look for the entry named "Select." If it lists a sound file, use   
   the drop down menu and choose "None."   
      
   That should do it.
