   If by "Zone Alarm" you mean their firewall, it shouldn't be causing a   
   conflict. If you're referring to their anti-virus software, then that is a   
   possibility.   
      
   If this is the case, pick ONE "realtime" anti-virus program and uninstall any   
   others. It's ok to have multiple virus SCANNING programs installed on your   
   machine (ones that must be invoked manually), but it's a bad idea to have   
   more than one anti-virus protection program running.
