   I would think Relic is referring to the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. You   
   do see that in your list don't you?  There you will find the primary and   
   secondary IDE channels listed. Hopefully your DVD is connected through   
   the secondary IDE so try removing only the secondary IDE first to see if   
   that fixes it.   
      
   Don't forget to reboot. ;-)
