   Try turning off the certificate authenticator.   
      
   open internet explorer   
   click tools   
   select "manage add-ons"   
   select "Add-ons that have been usedby Internet Explorer"   
   disable the add-on for Microsoft Genuine Certificate.   
   Now update windows.
