   In Windows XP,
   1.) Click: Start
   2.) Click: Run
   3.) Type: services.msc
   4.) Click: OK

This will show you all the built-in services and 'deep-down' add-ins
that start when Windows XP starts.

   Then, In Windows XP,
   1.) Click: Start
   2.) Click: Run
   3.) Type: msconfig
   4.) Click: OK

This is the other place where you will find items that run during the
   Windows start-up sequence.
