   The email client happens to be Goldmine, but I don't think that is relevant.   
   The point is that, even though I have checked & double-checked the Pop3 and   
   SMTP settings and authentication settings, this is the error that reports   
   when we try to send mail. Of course, can send mail using web-based   
   connnection. Is there a firewall or security setting in XP that might be   
   causing this? Thank you.
