|    Windows Scripting Host    |

From: panhandler@emptyhat.net              For the last few days Zone Alarm has alerted me that Windows Based Scripting       Host has been trying to access the internet. At first I thought it was       Outlook Express that was invoking it, but now it seems to happen several       times an hour when I'm online, though not actively surfing or using OE.       I've been denying access, but not permanently, as I'm not sure if it's       malicious code or a data miner, or needed by Windows for an important       function. I see that the alert pops up when OE checks for new messages,       which I       have set for 10 minute intervals. What puzzles me is that this has never       occurred before. Running XP Home SP2, OE6, and Avast! Personal Edition.       Adaware and Spybot S&D find no problems. Zone Alarm was recently updated,       and I'm not certain, but could they have added this as a potential problem?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
