HELP I lost my storage volume

If anyone can help me out PLEASE,

I have two hard discs, Windows is drive D on SATA via an Abit Serillel adapter
and storage is drive C (IDE) which simply does not show in explorer. It shows
   in
the device manager which says "this device is working properly". And it shows
in system info displays that DMA is "OK". Both drives show at location 0 (0),
   strangely enough.

Recently I had trouble with Firefox and a Windows original 3D screen saver both
of which would corrupt the *mechanics* of the D drive and crash the whole
machine, and many times a reset would not work, it stayed the same as not being
able to get back into Windows. So I did a repair install from the XP disc got
   it
woking good, then installed SP1 which totaly fouled it up, and I had lost my
   SP2
download (or i never had it). I can't find that anywhere on the MS website.
Anyone got the LINK to it???

Then I uninstalled SP1 and Windows is working properly as version 2002, after
using "Advanced Windows Care" software.... only the disc C does not show in
explorer, what can I do to get it back?
