   Format and reinstall.   
      
   Boot from the XP CD and follow the installation prompts. Just after you have   
   to hit F8 to accept the EULA it will have you select the drive you intend to   
   install XP onto; when you do so you will see the option to Delete the   
   existing partition at the bottom. Delete it and Create a new one (XP will   
   only create an NTFS partition if the size is greater than 32GB). It will be   
   formatted before continueing with the installation.
