XPost: alt.os.windows-xp, alt.windows-xp       From: RisingStarr@cox.net              Yesteday I had planned to "repair" my version of XP,but somewhere in the       process it froze, and the only way to get into the system(that I could get       to work) was to reinstall. Ok, no problem, except that when everything       reloaded it took MONTHS worth of pictures from my digicam that I hadn't       backed up yet. Yes, I know about backing up regularly which is why this is       sticking so deep in my craw. We use the Kodak easy share software, and when       I open it up, I can SEE the photos. When I check the properties for a       location, it gives me one that doesnt exist. I had a TON of my photos in a       different folder and I found them, but not my wifes. The kicker is that she       took approx 119 photos at the Kenny Chesney concert the other day. She had       VERY close seats and those are the pics that are gone. I have been trying       different data recovery software packages with no good results. Does ANYone       know how I can fix this problem??? I'm desperate! Thank you              Rob              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
