|    "Open With" window does not appear    |

From: jwernicke@wi.rr.com              Can someone please help me. When I insert an audio CD or CD-R or DVD-R with       video files, audio files or whatever, Windows never asks me what program I       want to use. Windows just always opens Windows Explorer to display the       contents of the inserted disc. Game CD's do auto start though. When I       bring up the Properties for my DVD-RW or DVD Drive and then click on the       "AutoPlay" tab. Windows does not allow me to assign programs to certain       file types so that CD's will auto run because the "Actions" list is       completely empty! Has anyone had this problem or heard of this problem       before? I think something got messed up in my Windows Registry. I use       TuneUp Utilities 2006 Registry Cleaner. Can anyone guide me on the right       path to solving this problem? Thank you.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
