   You should have mentioned the manufacture name and model of the pen drive,   
   in case there are any known specifics.   
      
   Did you install the driver for the USB pen drive?   
   Go to the manufacture's web page, download the driver, and follow their   
   instructions.

   manager under drives it shows the USB drive, with no red or yellow
