   my PC will not start!   
      
   when I turn it on it starts to boot up but stalls on "verifying dmi pool   
   data" and will not move on from that   
      
   I have formatted the pc before - so no problem if i need to do that BUT i   
   have a lot of data i need to retrieve.   
      
   is there anyway i can get into it to retrieve the data to floppies or to an   
   external hardrive?   
      
   how do i open it in safe mode - and will safe mode allow   
   retrieval?   
      
   OR am i just panicking and there is an easier solution???
