   You could need more ram. Boot your computer and hit Ctrl Alt Del. Look at   
   how much Ram is being used. If more is being used than what you have that   
   means your RAM is full and your computer is using virtual memory, which is   
   horribly slow. I suggest having at least 512mb. If you are into gaming you   
   need at least a gig.
