   Interesting. I kinda wondered about that, myself. It all seemed to be   
   working all right up to this point. He also was cancelling the cable TV   
   portion because Cox is a monopoly around here. He was gonna get   
   satellite TV and keep the cable for internet use. I wonder if Cox is   
   jerking him around for that?

   OK, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks a lot for the input. If he   
   can't straighten this out with the cable-internet aspect and/or decides   
   to get XP anyway, at least I can let him know what he's in for.
