From: almkay@comcast.net              Can you explain the Documents & Settings folder in Windows XP?              My Documents & Settings folder contains some folders with the same name as       folders on C drive but the data is not identical. It also contains folders       that do not appear on the C drive. For instance the "Data" folder appears       on each. "Data" on C drive has 273 MB, whereas "Data" in Documents &       Settings" contains 468 MB. "Quicken" appears on the C drive, but not in       Documents & Settings. However on the Documents & Settings, a sub folder of       "Quicken", called QuickenArchive appears.              None of this makes any sense. It appears that a tremendous amount of disk       space is used up in Documents and Settings by highly inaccurate files that       serve no purpose.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
