|    Registry Permissions screwed up    |
|    01 Aug 06 15:54:56    |
From: js@js.com              How can I fix my registry permissions in XP pro?              I do development work and when I register a new dll, the entries in the       registry have no permissions. I have had to build a regini script to set the       appropriate permissions. Are the default permissions for regsvr32 stored       somewhere?              Today, another problem cropped up. I cannot edit my dll's in VB Studio       because it says TYPE=OLEDLL is an invalid type key. TYPE=EXE is the only       option available. This is text at the top of the .vbp (project file)              I tried to re-install VB Studio 6 and keep getting "Problems updating the       system registry" errors. I am logged in as a user in the Administrators       group.              Please help,       Thanks              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
