   You'll need a program like "ImToo DVD Ripper" to begin with, then software   
   to edit it, and an encoder to burn it back to a DVD.   
   Since you cannot use your cam to play the DVD, you'll need a DVD player.   
      
   I use IMToo DVD Ripper.........AVI/MPEG/ASF/WMV Splitter............Easy   
   Video Joiner............#1 Video Converter.  There may be one program that   
   will do it all, but this is what I'm used to.  For viewing I use Power DVD   
   and for capturing stills I use OSS Video Decompiler.
