     Do you mean somehow connect the DVD player to the PC so that Movie Maker   
    sees a 'playback' stream?   
      
     The problem isn't to do with viewing the DVD produced by the camera.   
      
     The problem is how to get the contents of the DVD into Movie Maker (or   
     some such program) so that we can edit the recording (and then burn a   
     modified version onto DVD, of course).
