   DVD rip software will work on commercial or home DVD's.  Get a DVD burner

    No problem playing the DVD's; we've got a DVD player that plays DVD-RAM,   
    or we can play it back through the TV.   
      
    The problem is getting it into the PC to do some editing, because Movie   
    Maker will only accept playback from the camera, not from a DVD.
