From: oldmartian@users.easynews.com              I bought a SATA II card and a WD320 GB SATA drive.              I got the board's drivers installed but my BIOS and Device Manager       doesn't see the drive.              Would it be my Intel D850GBC mother board?              On boot up I get a black text screen saying the drive isn't right and       I can press the F4 key to get an option to low-level format the drive.       I haven't low-level formatted anything in 10 years.              I've been searching the Web and the Windows OS newsgroups but there       isn't much help. I'm thinking my motherboard is too old.              I know it's time to get new, but not yet.              Thanks, Dudes.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
