Frankly, I wish I knew how to do something like that, and I
would do it every time Your Majesty managed to get your system
   running again, but I don't.

Your Highness, if you got your head out of your Royal ass long
enough to learn how to use a real (free, of course, Your
Majesty) newsreader, you would know that when replying to
assholes who crosspost, you need to set up a "follow-up". I
always set up "follow-up to poster", as do most people.

It is not my problem Your Highness insists on using Google
Groups which apparently thinks "follow up to poster" means
"follow up to a group called poster" (or that, more likely, you
   are simply doing something wrong).

Now that I understand what (part of) your problem is, I have set
follow up to nothing so you shouldn't have any problems with
this (last) reply. OTOH, I sincerely wish your monitor explodes
in your oh-so-Royal yet oh-so-repellent face, if such a thing
were physically possible, which it isn't, since CRT's implode.

OF COURSE NOT, Your Majesty. YOU dictate how the world runs. May
your Royal name forever be blessed.

Ooooohhhh... I am SO scared. Still, very amusing watching you
dig your "Royal-Hole'o'Stupidity" deeper and deeper.

Your Highness, most ISP's are abandoning their (recently very
poor due to explosive growth) Usenet service altogether because
it is too expensive to even *try* to maintain them properly let
alone keep up. In fact, in some countries there ARE no ISP
   servers at all.

   And, again:

   >> King of the World, most of the facts you state above are
   >> incorrect. No Usenet or internet provider in the world can
   >> eliminate all spam, whether they charge a hundred a month
   >> or nothing. Get real.

   > You intentionally misunderstand me (as well as insult me).

How can someone "intentionally misunderstand"? You ARE from
   another planet, Your Majesty!

And, so it's ME that's been insulting YOU? I humbly beg your
forgiveness, Your Highness. Please point out the offending words
and I will personally print them a thousand times on paper made
from animal guts and then eat all the sheets. I will present the
final results in a glass urn for your Majesty to display in your
   chambers.

   > types: 1. Your ISP's server, if any. I'm still paying for

How do you survive for even an hour outside your castle?

   > 2. Gmail and other Web-based ones that share a common set
   > of flaws.

Gmail is not a Usenet server. Nor is Google Groups.

   3. Third-party NNTP for pay. I refuse to pay
   > extra for usenet, given that what I was paying before I
   > still am (my ISP bill never did decrease).

Of course, Your Majesty. May I suggest you hop over to some
third world country in your private jet, capture some slaves to
work for free, and with the money you save, pay for a premium
Usenet service? I know 8 dollars a month is a LOT of money, but
with enough slaves, you should be able to manage.

   > don't want. THAT is what I meant by having to pay "either
   > in money or in being spammed".

You are VERY confused and very wrong, Your Highness.

   > EXPLORER ALTERNATIVES!!! you nincompoop. Don't you remember
   > what this entire fucking THREAD is about?

Your Majesty, when the coup happens, you will have a new job
ready as the town square jester. That was VERY funny!

Do you actually still expect me to give you ANY information, let
   alone useful?

May you live to be a hundred and eleven, Your Highness.
And may you use Explorer until you draw your last breath.
The whole kingdom will mourn you, but we'll get over it
   eventually.
