XPost: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, alt.comp.os.windows-xp,       comp.os.ms-windows.misc       From: see.website@for.address              06.09.2006 20:08, Nebulon schrob:              >> - click button "Apply to all folders"       >> - and then below the button also clear the checkmark to save view settings       >> for each folder separately       >       > That would be dumb. I have folders I want to view in list form, others       > I want thumbnails for; the majority, tiles. But not the same for all of       > them...              Then omit those points. I was telling from my own preference, since that       tile view is not efficient to view a large amount of files.              But maybe this clears the currput settings so you can store your settings       anew, so now they _are_ stored the way you want.       Another possibility than to use "Apply to all folders" is to check the       desktop.ini files in your folders. The view settings are stored in them,       AFAIK.       --       Gruß | Greetings | Qapla' - http://www.stud.tu-ilmenau.de/~frst-ii/       No user was harmed by sending this Outlook-free message.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
