It appears that Terry "Telnet" Porter must have dropped out of the
   program at about year one.

They don't realize that *nix elitism went down the drain years
   ago.

The "mystic, cryptic, computer skills (ie:cli) don't impress
   average folks anymore.

People like Jeddiah are looked upon as freaks and geeks who never
   advanced with the technology.

BTW there is nothing wrong with the cli, but it's certainly no
longer a selling point to average Joe as the computer becomes more
   like an appliance.

For the same reason Spamowitz and his creepy gang have turned this
group (COLA) into a Microsoft hate group instead of a Linux
   advocacy group.

After you talk about having the source code, and Linux being free,
   what else is there?

Neither of those two properties seem to be reeling in the average
   consumer at all.

I'm convinced Ahlstrom is no more a professional programmer than
   HPT is a professional musician.
Neither has produced anything to make me think any differently.
