   It's polite and efficient to cross-post technical questions to a few   
   relevant groups so that everybody can get the benefit of the discussion   
   and all will be aware when the issue is resolved.   
      
   If I spent my valuable time answering your question, then found out   
   that you had asked it in another group and it had already been answered   
   there, I would be extremely annoyed.
