|    Unknown program: Trojan/spyware/whatever    |

From: hgxrp@yahoo.com              When I shut down my XP box, sometimes (usually after the box has been       sitting idle for a couple of hours), it is very slow shutting down. I will       get popups saying this program is not responding; end now. The programs are       usually recognizable as being part of windows.              Yesterday, while going through this gyration, a program was listed: the       name was a string of about 15 Asian characters. I shudder to think what it       might be, and tried spybot, but didn't find it. I started to look through       the Windows folders, but gave that up. Ran msconfig and there were no       unusual entries. I have WinPatrol which usually warns when something is       installed (usually turn out to be updaters).              Would anyone know if there are 'usual' folders where these programs hang       out.              Thanks.              HankG              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
