   Hmm possible not the correct group anyway I'm using power grep but can't   
   seem to find a command to give all files containing FRED but not TOM on the   
   same line   
   eg similar to unix   
      
   grep FRED /tmp/files* | grep -v TOM   
      
   Appreciate any advise
