   Probably, but you haven't told us anything about the computer, so it's   
   impossible to make any suggestions that apply to you.   
      
   Add more RAM.   
      
   Replace the disk drives with faster ones.   
      
   Upgrade to a faster CPU   
      
   Add another hard disk and put the pagefile(s) on it.

   Pentium IV sept 2001, 786 MB ram, 1Ghz frequency.   
   Ram sockets are full. Several partitions (where I could move the pagefile )   
      
   What I really ask is : when new with a fresh windows it was faster. So how   
   to recover without re installing the whole system ?
