   The picture would not show much: in the device manager several monitors, in   
   the registry several monitors either for 4 controlsets plus the current one.   
   Half a year ago i tried to tweek the monitor setting with an override EDID,   
   now I cannot set more than 1680x1050. This is a software issue, Ubuntu on   
   the same device gets it like a charm, another XP with the same HW as well. I   
   just wanted to restart from scratch with all my monitor settings.
