   As an extension of the format question. When you do a Check and Repair   
   disk in Windows XP SP3, does it check and repair the physical hard drive   
   or the only the logic drive that you specify on the physical drive   
      
   OR   
      
   If I have a disk with the operating system on the C: and a logic drive   
   d: on disk C:  with the Disk check fix both drive C: and the physical   
   drive C: if I run Check and repair on C:
