   What a stupid reply. Yes of course a format or deletion of the partition   
   will solve this sort of problem but it really is taking a ten ton hammer   
   to crack a nut. One has to save the data, stock it somewhere, bring it   
   back. If it is just data, documents, pictures etc it's not so bad but if   
   it a partition with programmes installed on it, they all have to be   
   reinstalled. Advice like yours is useless and stupid, if you can't do   
   better then shut up. Sorry to be so blunt but you remind me of the   
   'tech' guys in PC shops who talk a lot but in fact know sod all other   
   than how to selling too much to some poor unsuspecting computer.
