From: hgxrp@yahoo.com              I downloaded Speedupmypc today, thinking it was not one of the typical 'pay       later' type. I have a free application, but this one was a link on a site       for testing download speed, so I thought it would also be free.              I tried deleting it in control panel, but it wasn't listed. In windows       explorer, when trying to delete it, I got the 'access denied' message.              At the command prompt, I tried the attrib command, thinking that I could       delete a read-only attribute. This did not behave like a normal file would.              Anyone know how to get rid of this program? I blocked it from the startup       group, but it bugs me.              Thanks.              HankG              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
