|    Strange behavior of COPY/PASTE command    |

From: barrel.full@screwmail.com              XP SP3 on a little desktop system at my home.              My intent was to copy a collection of folders and files from a 4 gb USB stick       to an existing partition on my HD. Running Explorer, I hilite the       4 gb USB stick as j:, do a cntl-c, hilite the existing partition on my HD as       e:, and do a cntl-v. Got lots of messages like "Both folders have a file       named xxx.yyy. Proceed with copy?" Replied 'Yes' to all. During all this       the info popup said "copying from j: to Removable disk j:".              The files were not copied. I can't figger the j: to j: BS. There's       something about COPY/PASTE that I'm missing here.              Any ideas?               Thx,        Will              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
