   I did that, bios still reports 1024 Mb after swapping the sticks. However,   
   removing the 512 Mb stick got me a better result: the system now runs at the   
   333 Mhz of the 1024 Mb stick (the 512 Mb runs at 266 Mhz).   
   Anyway, it's obvious to me the motherboard has trouble handling these two   
   different two sticks. I'll see if can put the 512 Mb in another PC.
