An 'XP system something' means nothing at all. As someone said on
another group to which you have been posting, you'll have to grab the
nettle, copy your data and reinstall everything. Once you've got Window
on there you can install SP3 straight away, you don't need SP2 first.

The poster also said that you don't have the knowledge to follow
instructions about what you should do, though that is hard to define as
your messages are too vague (a system something) which doesn't help.
Windows usually says what file is missing and giving its name would be
better than pretending your dumb and can't note it down with your
'system something' as all the info we get. So either follow the advice
of people who a more technical savvy than you or don't. If you choose
the latter then stop posting. People are fully willing to help you but
as the old saying goes 'god helps those who help themselves' and if you
aren't prepared to make an effort then be damned.
