No need to type out long folder descriptions. The structure of       the "Programs" sub-folder reflects the structure of the fly-out menus on       YOUR "All Programs" menu. Contents of the "All Users" start menus will       be added to your individual selections (may result in duplication).              Changing the "All Users" menu may require your being logged onto an       account with administrative privileges.              While that window is open right click "My Computer" and click "Explore".       Select the folder containing your application in the left pane (Usually       somewhere within "Program Files" on the "C:" drive). right click on the       executable file (many are .exe) and select "Create Shortcut" from the       context menu. The new shortcut will normally have the same icon as the       executable with an added arrow in a lower corner. You should be able to       drag this new shortcut to the window showing the contents of your       "start" menu. The "Shortcut to" portion of the file name can be edited       out like any file name change.              Note that if you want to drag files to an Explorer window that's       minimized or hidden behind another window you can drag the file to the       destination window's task bar button and WHILE HOLDING THE MOUSE BUTTON       DOWN the destination window will open and/or come to the front so that       you can continue to drag the file to that folder.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
