   Thanks for your response.  The K-Lite pack is very good, but unfortunately   
   even the basic pack involves a lot of selecting and clicking on the   
   installation.  The problem is that I'm writing software the plays music vie   
   WMP, and WMP does not play M4A files natively.  So, basically I need   
   something simple a user can just click on to install the codec.  That's the   
   problem.   
      
   It's got to be WMP because I'm coding to its sdk.
