   It should work, yes. Without more information, nobody can take a guess at   
   what's going wrong. Does the installer refuse to start? Does it get to a   
   certain point and then start? Does it install all the way and then refuse to   
   actually boot Windows?   
      
   Assuming it's not that last guess, you could *try* copying the K8's install   
   to the K6's hard drive. (You'll need to do it from outside of Windows, using   
   some sort of boot disk or live CD.) On first run in the K6 box it'll update   
   drivers for a while, and then... it may or may not work.
