   Very stable (for 2 1/2 years) desktop running XP SP3.   
      
   Just viewing a Firefox browser window with Outlook 2k, an editor, etc loaded,   
   all the sudden I get:   
      
   STOP x...7E "If first crash just reboot,    
               Windows has shut down to protect your computer ..."   
      
   On reboot, it looked normal until the desktop was starting to come up,   
   then nothing but blank screen.   
      
   More recently it has booted apparently OK, but I can't find any   
   kind of problem (in Event viewer, etc). Checked case: all fans   
   work, dust is not bad, etc.   
      
   Any ideas?
