   i tried what you said and it did not change anything.  it seems like the shift   
   key is the culprit.  holding down shift cause my underscore to zoom out of the   
   screen.  i cannot capitalize the letters, as you can see.  the shift is out of   
   wack of something.   
     any ideas how to fix
