From: donlhumphries@bigpond.com              In MS-WORKS, the Database facility enables fields (columns) to describe an       entity (rows), but doesn't seem to enable a classification of entities, as       is inherent in Windows generally, ie. its use of folders and files.        The only way I can provide a "classification", eg. of geological time       periods, is to repeat the "genus" down a field, such that it covers a       "species".        Maybe there is some way of doing this in MS as a whole, but I can't locate       it.        Or, is there any software available which specialises is this?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
