   MY documentation says to hold it for 60 seconds. The reset puts the UN/PW to   
   "admin" and "password" defaults. So you'd need to know what happens when you   
   do reset a router.   
    Nothing happens to let you know it worked in my case; Westell 327W   
   Gateway Router/NAT.   
      
   If it has the feature, have it reload saved settings.   
      
   Then power off/on and wait for the LEDs to show you have a connection and   
   try to access it usng the default UN and PW, whatever they may be. The mfr   
   web ste should have that data is it's not readily available.
