    With claims that I didn't give enough info before---   
   I'll try again.   
      
      Linksys router ---older model   
     Installed on a xp-pro machine and on a Vista machine.   
     I want to install it on a new I-pad but don't have the password   
    (I have the key but have not retained or I misplaced the password)   
     I've searched all over but can't find a way to recover it.   
   There is a YouTube video claiming to show how --- but it's   
   not correct -- I followed it's "method" but simply got to the router   
   via the ISP so all I got was a request for the password!   
     There is no installation disk or manual -- the original installation   
   as stated in the material was a phone call which gave a recorded set   
   in install instrucyions.   
      LINKSYS "Technical support" get a perdon in India who doean't   
   answer questions --promises too call back tp provide the support---   
   but doesn't!   
    I found a freeware which claims to return the password but it   
   givea me a blank page return!!   
     So --- any ideasas to how to,  or whether possible, to recover   
   the password??
