   I started using free MS Security Essentials this year after years of   
   using Symantec, McAfee, and Kaspersky products. I also have installed a   
   paid version of Malwarebytes, free Windows Defender, and Spybot Search   
   and Destroy.  I like Spybot's utilities.   
      
   I have not had any problems since starting with MS Security Essentials.   
     I rationalize its use by convincing myself that MS knows how shitty   
   its software is that they can easily see its vulnerabilities.
